Oversees the Affirmative Action program in the District.
Delegates at the District Convention.
Any registered Iowa Democrat who resides in the District they seek to represent.
Fill out the IDP Convention Nomination Form.
Each district elects 1.
Affirmative Action Chairs are expected to attend all District Central Committee meetings, liaise with county affirmative action chairs, develop and executive an Affirmative Action Plan for the District.

Oversees the IDP Affirmative Action Committee. Serves on the State Central Committee.
Delegates at the State Convention.
Any registered Iowa Democrat.
Fill out the IDP Convention Nomination Form.

The Affirmative Action Chair is expected to attend all SCC meetings – either in-person or remotely. The SCC meets at least every 3 months. The Chair is also expected to convene meetings of the Affirmative Action Committee and develop an Affirmative Action Plan in consultation with the State Chair
